An Alternative Approach to Education

When children struggle to meet the demands of school, we act as a bridge from the clinical setting to the mainstream learning environment.

We provide clinical intervention alongside a bespoke classroom experience for Children of Determination with Special Educational Needs & Disabilities (SEND). Our ‘Bridge 2 School’ programme uses scientifically proven methods including Developmental Psychology, Applied Behavioural Analysis (ABA), Speech pathology and Occupational therapy are provided alongside a modified British Curriculum.

With our support, Children of Determination effectively access and attend school.

How Can The Bridge Help You?

    If your child is not yet ready for the mainstream classroom, but you want them to be immersed into an inclusive setting, The Bridge can help.

  • Interventions

    If your child has not met one or more of their developmental milestones, they can receive targeted therapy to bridge their gaps while at school.

  • Parent Support

    If you would like support and guidance to foster your child’s development, then our experienced and caring staff are here to help.

  • Expert Team

    Expert Team

    Each child at The Bridge has an expert team there to support them, including SEND Teachers, behavioural Technicians and Speech & OT Therapists.

  • Developmental Assessments

    Our Psychologists & BCBAs are here to help with any developmental concerns. Standardised assessments help us to identify milestone delays and difficulties.

We uphold a ‘social model’ of disability, recognizing that a Person of Determination may face difficulties due to societal barriers. It is our aim to remove these barriers by changing the approach to education (not changing the child!).

One Size Does Not Fit All.

The Bridge recognises that one size does not fit all when it comes to education! Alternative teaching methods must be adopted to fit each student's profile of needs and abilities. We focus on a holistic education that incorporates clinical interventions with curriculum content and social skills support.
