Motor Skills & Physical Development

Our experienced and qualified Occupational Therapists (OT) provide support for physical development, motor skills, adaptive skills and sensory processing. Occupational Therapy can help with fine motor development essential for writing, playing, eating and self care. In addition, OT supports the development of gross motor activities to increase core strength, balance, hand eye coordination and fitness. It also improves motor planning skills which are essential for knowing the steps to take to perform tasks. Sensory Processing interventions can help children to self-regulate to manage environmental and internal stimuli.
